Back in September, my friend Scott Pietrangelo invited me to sit in for his Birthday Cabaret.
He and I know each other from the establishment formerly known as “Statler’s”. He was the Tuesday night guy and I was Wednesday. We were like ships in the night for the most part, but when we finally did meet we immediately got along.
Anyway, the night his cabaret was supposed to happen, there were some issues at Statler’s and they had to close. He decided to hold the show but in his apartment instead. He had invited a number of singers and performers to play at this party. The deal was: he was to do a duet with any one of them, and then would allow them to do one on their own.
The following is my contribution to the evening.
